SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has officially opened a super flagship branch in Bandung, West Java, designed to enhance customer experience and support local communities. This launch took place on (11/4/2024), with the aim of simplifying financial transactions for both loyal customers and the surrounding community.
Ronny Venir, BNI’s Director of Network and Services, stated, “This new BNI branch in Bandung, with its updated building concept, aims to contribute to and assist the local community as well as our loyal customers.” This initiative reflects BNI's commitment to modernizing its banking services and adapting to customer needs in a digital age, as reported by Antara.
The branch exemplifies BNI's strategy to transform banking through five distinct formats: super flagship, business flagship, digital-first, thematic, and smart conventional branches. Each format is tailored to provide a unique banking experience, emphasizing digital channels to streamline transactions.

This transformation is paying off, as BNI reported a net profit of Rp16.3 trillion by Q3-2024. The growth was driven by a strong rebound in operational income, with lending increasing by 9.5% year-on-year, primarily supported by low-risk corporate clients and contributions from subsidiaries.
