SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Erick Thohir menyatakan bahwa PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia atau InJourney telah resmi menggabungkan PT Angkasa Pura I dan PT Angkasa Pura II menjadi PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia atau InJourney Airports, Kamis (28/12).
Menteri Erick menyampaikan kehadiran InJourney Airports dan PT Integrasi Aviasi Solusi atau InJourney Aviation Services (IAS) merupakan terobosan besar dalam sektor industri aviasi dan kebandarudaraan. Menurutnya, transformasi ini penting demi mengoptimalkan potensi sektor ekonomi, pariwisata, dan logistik Indonesia. Ia juga berharap bahwa transformasi ini dapat membuat pengelolaan bandara yang lebih terintegrasi dan efisien.
"Yang terpenting, integrasi ini harus mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dengan adanya standarisasi sistem operasi dan kebijakan yang sama," sebutnya.
Selain itu, kebijakan menggabungkan AP I dan AP II ini juga merupakan bentuk adaptif BUMN dalam menghadapi perubahan zaman.
