SEAToday.com, Kedah - US Pizza, one of Malaysia's largest pizza chains, has signed an Investment Announcement, reaffirming its commitment to investing in Indonesia. The signing ceremony took place during the "Indonesia Investment Forum 2024", organized by the Indonesian Consulate General in Penang in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment.

"US Pizza will expand its business by allocating 10 million Malaysian Ringgit, equivalent to approximately 36.7 billion rupiah, to open around 30 new outlets in Indonesia," said Steven Phang, Director of US Pizza, in an official statement.

Prior to this, the third-largest fast food pizza chain in Malaysia, after Pizza Hut and Domino's Pizza, already has outlets in several major Indonesian cities, including North Jakarta, South Jakarta, South Tangerang, Bandung, and Surabaya.

The Indonesian Consul General in Penang, Wanton Saragih, stated that the signing of the Investment Announcement is a proof to the Indonesian Consulate General's efforts in supporting foreign investment in the country.

"We are committed to supporting the government's efforts to increase domestic investment by acting as a marketing channel, promoting Indonesia's economic potential to the business community in the working area of the Indonesian Consulate General in Penang, namely Penang, Kedah, and Perlis," said Wanton Saragih.
