President Prabowo Secures IDR 294 Trillion in Foreign Investments During Two-Week Abroad Visit

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport Jakarta, Sunday at 05.30 local time, after traveling to a number of countries for state visits.
President Prabowo's Media Team in Jakarta informed that the President was welcomed by Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and a number of members of the Red and White Cabinet.
As is known, President Prabowo conducted state visits to six countries from November 8 to November 23, 2024. Starting from China to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, followed by the United States to meet US President Joe Biden.
After that, the President continued his trip to attend two international conferences, the APEC Summit in Peru and the G20 Summit in Brazil.
The Head of State then traveled to the United Kingdom to meet King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, then to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to meet President MBZ.
President Prabowo succeeded in securing many potential domestic investments and cooperation in various sectors that are projected to have a positive impact on the Indonesian people, ranging from food security, nutrition, health, technology, to energy.
From his visit over the past two weeks, President Prabowo received investment commitments worth a total of US$18.57 billion or around IDR 294.80 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,880.00 per US dollar).
