Southeast Asia's Top Watermelon Producing Countries

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Over the past month, watermelon has become a symbol of support for Palestine worldwide. This sweet and refreshing fruit is abundant in vitamins A and C and easily found in various parts of the world.  

 

According to Atlasbig.com, China stands as the world's largest watermelon producer, with a production volume of 79.2 million tons per year. Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia, Thailand is the largest watermelon producing country. Followed by Indonesia, which ranks second in Southeast Asia with a production volume of 480,897 tons per year.
