The Prices of Gold Antam Slightly Drop today 12 September 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The gold that was sold by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) goes down to be cheaper in the trading this Thursday (9/12/2024). The price per gram of Antam gold was set at Rp. 1,409,000.
This marks a decrease of Rp. 2,000 compared to the previous day’s rate of 1,411,00 per gram, making it a little cheaper for buyers. Similarly, the buyback price has also dropped. The buy back price refers to the amount Antam pays if customers choose to sell their gold back to the company.
The buyback price for today is at 1,255,00 per gram, reflecting a decrease of Rp 3,000 from yesterday’s rate.
Antam provides gold in various sizes, ranging from 0,5 grams to 1,000 grams. For customers who include their taxpayer identification number (NPWP)< a reduced tax rate of 0.45% is available, providing an additional benefit for those making larger purchases.
However, as of 8:09 AM WIB, most gold pieces were not yet available for purchases. As for the international market, gold prices have also experienced slight changes. On Wednesday, the price of gold dropped due to a strengthening dollar and rising treasury yields. Spot gold saw a decrease of 0.1% to USD 2,513.19 per ounce.
“Inflation is still a concern, and consumers are feeling the pressure,” said Bob Haberkorn, a senior market strategist at RJO Futures. Despite the small drop in prices, many market experts believe this could be a good time to buy.
The Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates in the coming months, which could have a positive impact on gold prices moving forward.
