SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia on May 30 approved the establishment of three new Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Batam, BSD, and Morowali. With this, Indonesia now has 24 SEZs spread across the country.
The SEZs act as centers of development, economic growth, and national economic equity efforts. The development of this area is also expected to attract investors from within and outside the country.
