Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Surabaya akan Berkolaborasi dengan Tiongkok
SEAToday.com, Jakarta. - Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Surabaya akan digarap bersama Tiongkok. Menurut Wakil Menteri BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Selasa (31/10), perpanjangan kontrak tersebut sudah disepakati dalam penandatanganan antara Tiongkok dan Indonesia. Saat ini, studi terkait kereta tersebut tengah dipelajari bersama dengan China Railway Group Limited (CREC).
Pemerintah Indonesia yakin bisa melanjutkan proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Surabaya dengan bermodal pengalaman mengerjakan Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung. Akan tetapi, masih ada beberapa tantangan yang harus diselesaikan dalam proses pembangunan ini, termasuk salah satu di antaranya adalah pembebasan lahan.
