Bahan Bakar Indonesia Akan Mengandung 10 Persen Bioetanol pada Tahun 2026
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga menyebutkan akan berencana untuk mencampurkan 10 persen bioetanol dalam Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) pada 2026.
Direktur Utama Pertamina Patra Niaga Riva Siahaan menyebutkan bahwa pihaknya pada 2024-2025 masih tetap akan fokus pada pengembangan campuran bioetanol 5 persen. Kemudian pada 2026, mereka baru akan memulai campuran bioetanol 10 persen.
Saat ini, Indonesia telah memiliki produk bioetanol 5 persen yaitu Pertamax Green 95. Produk ini khususnya berbasis tetes tebu (molase) dengan BBM. Kedepannya untuk campuran 10 persen, Riva menyebutkan bahwa kebutuhan bioetanol masih terpenuhi produksinya sebesar 30.000 kiloliter per tahun. Ia juga menyebutkan akan melakukan pengembangan pabrik-pabrik etanol bersama PTPN.
