Indonesia Bukukan Inflasi 2024 Terendah Sepanjang Sejarah
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia membukukan inflasi tahunan 1,57 persen pada Desember 2024. Angka ini adalah yang terendah dalam sejarah. Hal ini diumumkan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Kamis (2/1) yang juga menyebutkan bahwa inflasi mencapai 0,44 persen (month to month/mtm) pada Desember 2024.
"Tingkat inflasi tahunan sebesar 1,57 persen pada Desember 2024 merupakan yang terendah yang pernah tercatat oleh BPS," kata Deputi Bidang Statistik Distribusi dan Jasa BPS Pudji Ismartini dalam konferensi pers.
Pudji mengatakan inflasi 2024 ini menjadi yang terendah karena sejumlah faktor, termasuk melandainya harga bahan pangan pokok setelah melonjak pada 2022 dan 2023. Sejumlah komoditas seperti cabai rawit dan bensin juga mengalami deflasi sehingga meredam inflasi.
Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto menyebut angka inflasi ini masih terkendali, dalam rentang target sasaran nasional 2,5 plus minus 1 persen.
