Presiden Joko Widodo Luncurkan Transportasi Publik Ramah Lingkungan di Nusantara

SEAToday.com, Kalimantan Timur - Presiden Joko Widodo meluncurkan transportasi publik ramah lingkungan di kawasan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur, Kamis (21/12). Presiden menjelaskan, pengembangan transportasi ramah lingkungan ini didapat melalui investasi Blue Bird Group senilai 250 miliar rupiah.
Investasi tersebut diserap untuk pengadaan Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bertenaga listrik untuk mendukung layanan perkotaan, taksi bertenaga listrik, mobil rental bertenaga listrik, dan bus umum jurusan Balikpapan ke IKN.
Presiden Jokowi mengapresiasi komitmen Blue Bird Group untuk mendukung inisiatif transportasi ramah lingkungan di IKN dalam rangka menciptakan masa depan mobilisasi masyarakat yang berkelanjutan dan lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat. Diharapkan, investasi ini dapat mempercepat pengembangan sistem transportasi publik berbasis listrik di Nusantara.
